Sunfish Sailing Course

Learn to sail in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. This full-day course takes you from complete beginner to confident sailor. You'll learn wind theory, rigging, steering, and sail control in the calm protected waters of the Bahia. By the end of the day, you'll be sailing solo, tacking upwind and running downwind. Complete the course and you'll be ready to rent a Sunfish for future adventures.
Itinerary
- 08:00 – Welcome, safety briefing, wind theory
- 09:00 – Rigging the Sunfish, life jacket fitting
- 10:00 – Beach launch and first sail
- 11:00 – Steering practice, points of sail
- 12:00 – Lunch break
- 13:00 – Review morning skills, Q&A
- 14:00 – Upwind sailing, tacking, gybing
- 15:00 – Solo sailing practice
- 16:00 – Final sail, debrief, photos
